Thomas Hall, Esquire
Thomas Hall graduated from Vermont Law School in 1987 and is licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York. Tom started his career with the District Attorney’s Office in New York City where he became a seasoned trial attorney. As a result of that training, Tom has tried more than 40 civil and felony jury trials as an Assistant District Attorney and in private practice in New Jersey. Some of Tom’s notable trials and successful litigations include:
- Convicted and obtained life sentences for the leaders of an international narcotics trafficking ring based in New York City responsible for supplying narcotics dealers in New York, San Francisco, St. Louis and Washington, D.C.;
- Obtained civil fraud judgments, and more than $4 million dollars in damages, against lawyers, physicians and chiropractors who set up sham medical practices in order to defraud insurance companies;
- Demonstrated record in insurance fraud matters of obtaining judgments in excess of the amount of claims and attorney’s fees paid by insurance companies;
- Defended local governments at the trial and appellate levels against claims of improper public contracting practices with respect to million-dollar construction projects and at the same time yielding hundreds of thousands of dollars in cost savings;
- Obtained complete dismissal of civil fraud and racketeering charges against a foreign bank accused of participating in a Ponzi-scheme;
- Represented several New Jersey municipalities including, Red Bank, Old Bridge, Englishtown and Asbury Park
